This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Gale School.  I am a native of Galesburg, and I attended District 205 schools (including Gale!)  I graduated from Knox College, and worked in a local social service agency for close to 14 years.  Through that position, I traveled to several schools throughout Knox County, teaching children conflict resolution and bullying prevention skills.  Although I loved the work I did in my previous position, I finally realized that I was happiest when in the classroom, and I decided to make the move to teaching full-time.  I have enjoyed every moment in the classroom so far, and I have never regretted my decision.
